This Christmas we bring you good news from Hope Home in India. We are celebrating the accomplishments of one of the children: Betty, one of the first children adopted into Hope Home, tested so high she is on track to become a doctor. When our home took her in, Betty, had been abandoned by her mother and her father was dead. Now she is thriving. Nelson Mandela said, “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” With your generous donations, we are now educating 125 world changers.
A highlight from our visit to India last year was watching the cap pinning ceremony as 10 of our students advanced in their nursing careers. Did you know that your donation of $200 pays for an entire year of nursing education? Think of the powerful return on this investment. You, partnering with us, can forever change the
destiny of a child and impact a region. This year, 2020, has been a very trying year in India because of COVID, but our 125 children are thriving. They are happy and healthy. Our ingenious Mrudula, overseer of our homes, hired tutors to keep the children current with their studies and also teach them English. Our India mission does many things, Tutors helping older children including supporting students, feeding thousands during the lockdown, supporting 75 rural pastors, supporting widows, and caring for a leper colony. As we approach the beginning of the New Year, we need your help as tutoring and tuition costs are due. We are firmly committed to enabling our 125 children to continue receiving an education during this difficult time.
